Why Photonic Ignition

A 100-year-old part, finally reinvented

For more than 100 years, spark plug technology has barely changed. It's imprecise, inefficient, and a limiting factor in performance, emissions, and engine intelligence.

Nothing left to wear out

A traditional spark plug erodes every time it fires: the gap widens, fouls, and eventually fails. PHOTONFLAME replaces that gap with a laser, so there's no electrode to wear down and no part to replace over the life of the engine.

More power, less wasted fuel

Because ignition is controlled by software instead of a fixed piece of metal, it can be tuned in real time to how an engine is actually running. That means more complete combustion, more usable power, and less fuel burned for the same output.

Reliable exactly where spark plugs fail

High-pressure conditions, lean fuel mixtures, and extreme environments are where conventional spark plugs misfire most often. PHOTONFLAME is designed to stay consistent precisely where traditional ignition breaks down.

The Difference

Two ways to ignite a fuel-air mixture

Instead of an electrode and a spark, PHOTONFLAME uses a compact, high-power laser to ignite the fuel-air mixture, with pinpoint precision and none of the wear that eventually degrades a traditional spark plug. No electrode erosion, no misfires under lean conditions, faster flame development, lower maintenance.

Valuation reflects management's current assessment of PHOTONFLAME's patent-pending technology, IP portfolio, market opportunity, and commercialization progress; final terms will be set out in PHOTONFLAME's Form C once the offering is live on IPO Wallet.

This valuation was set by PHOTONFLAME's management, is not the product of an independent third-party appraisal or a priced round negotiated with a professional lead investor, and is based on the Company's assessment of its patent-pending IP position, technical progress to date, and early industry engagement described elsewhere on this page. Prospective investors should not assume this valuation reflects fair market value and are encouraged to conduct their own diligence before indicating interest.

How Investors Could Benefit

How investors could benefit

Preferred equity in PHOTONFLAME is a claim on the company's future value, not a fixed return. This section explains how that value is intended to build over time, and what it would mean for someone who invests early.

01Equity, not a loan

You'd own preferred equity, not a loan or a note. No fixed interest, no repayment schedule, just a stake tied to how much PHOTONFLAME grows.

02Built to grow in value

Hardware sales, OEM licensing, royalties, and recurring software revenue are all designed to grow the company, and with it, the value of your stake.

03How value could be realized

Equity like this is illiquid until a liquidity event, most often an acquisition. Whether or when that might happen for PHOTONFLAME can't be predicted.

This is not a promise or projection of any specific return, timeline, or outcome. Investing in early-stage private companies is speculative and involves significant risk, including total loss of the amount invested. Equity in companies like PHOTONFLAME is illiquid. There is no public market for these shares, and investors should not expect to be able to resell them easily, if at all. Nothing here is investment advice. Investors should review PHOTONFLAME's full Form C and risk disclosures once the offering is live, and should consult their own financial and legal advisors before investing.

FAQ

Questions investors ask us

What does "reserving my interest" actually mean?

It means you're telling PHOTONFLAME you'd like to be considered as an investor once the live Reg CF offering opens on IPO Wallet. It is entirely non-binding and revocable, involves no payment or commitment of any kind, and does not obligate you or PHOTONFLAME in any way.

Why hasn't someone already done this?

Laser and photonic ignition have been researched for decades, but practical commercialization has historically been limited by cost, packaging, reliability, thermal management, power electronics, and manufacturing challenges. PHOTONFLAME is focused on integrating modern photonics, electronics, and software into a commercially viable ignition platform.

Why not just go electric?

Electrification will continue to play an important role, but hundreds of millions of internal combustion engines remain in operation worldwide and are expected to keep serving critical roles for decades. PHOTONFLAME isn't competing against electrification. It's focused on improving the combustion systems that will keep powering those industries.

What is PHOTONFLAME's current stage?

PHOTONFLAME is a pre-revenue company currently advancing prototype development along a structured 32-week engineering plan. Funding is intended to support engineering, prototype construction, testing, validation, IP expansion, and early commercialization activities.

What's PHOTONFLAME's competitive advantage?

PHOTONFLAME is a patent-pending, programmable photonic ignition platform with software-controlled timing and management, plus biometric activation for security and fleet applications. It's designed to scale across multiple industries rather than a single market, and its intellectual property is difficult to replicate quickly.

Why is now the right time for this technology?

Advances in photonics, semiconductors, embedded electronics, and software control have only recently converged to make a commercially viable photonic ignition platform practical to build. The underlying physics has been understood for decades, but the enabling technology to package it cost-effectively is new.

How will PHOTONFLAME generate revenue?

The long-term business model spans hardware sales, OEM licensing, strategic partnerships, and per-unit production royalties. It also includes recurring software revenue from fleet management, diagnostics, and biometric authorization services.

What type of security would I be investing in?

PHOTONFLAME's planned Reg CF offering is structured as preferred equity - not a SAFE, convertible note, or revenue-share agreement. PHOTONFLAME currently has no outstanding SAFEs, notes, or debt. Final terms, including valuation and price per unit, will be set out in PHOTONFLAME's Form C once the offering is live on IPO Wallet.

What's the long-term vision?

PHOTONFLAME aims to build a next-generation, programmable ignition platform capable of serving multiple industries, including motorsports, automotive, industrial, energy, and aerospace. In doing so, it's modernizing one of the last fundamentally unchanged components of the internal combustion engine.

What protects PHOTONFLAME's technology?

PHOTONFLAME has filed multiple non-provisional patent applications covering its core photonic ignition architecture and related systems, and continues to expand its intellectual property portfolio as development progresses.

Last Call

Be one of the first to know when PHOTONFLAME opens for investment

Before running any formal offering, PHOTONFLAME is building its Early Access List, a way to gauge investor demand before the raise opens. No money or commitment is required from you. If interest supports it, PHOTONFLAME intends to follow with a live funding round of up to $1,000,000 through IPO Wallet, a FINRA-registered funding portal, in reliance on the Reg CF exemption (Securities Act Section 4(a)(6)).

This is not an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy securities. No offering is open yet, and no offer or solicitation will be made until PHOTONFLAME files a Form C with the SEC and the offering is live on IPO Wallet. Any indication of interest expressed here is non-binding and revocable, involves no commitment or payment of any kind, and does not obligate PHOTONFLAME or IPO Wallet in any way. Investing in early-stage private companies involves significant risk, including total loss of investment; see the full risk disclosures below.
